As a member of Wes Anderson's creative team, Kris Moran is the set designer behind some of the director's greatest works like Moonrise Kingdom, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and The Darjeeling Limited.
Most recently, Moran has ventured into the restaurant world, transforming an Indian-American restaurant in SoHo, New York. The retro interior at The Bombay Bread Bar is inspired by Chef Floyd Cardoz's childhood in Mumbai. Decorated with grandmother-style tablecloths and works of contemporary Indian artists like Maria Qamar and Moshtari Hilal, the restaurant interior is reflective of the chef's modern take on Indian cuisine.
