Remember, in 2014, François Hollande rehabilitated the chapka...
Four years later, this hat with earmuffs, also called "ouchanka", plays the card of very trendy.
By Mathilde Berthier
It took all the ingenuity of Miuccia Prada for the historic headgear of the Russians and Scandinavians to return to the dance ... after having made the 1970s and the trend chapka / overalls / moon boot on a back-buttock of Haut-Jura. "Stalked" in New York last May, during the Prada Cruise 2019, this hat comes for the occasion in nylon and comes with long earmuffs to go up, or not, on the top of the head. The black version is in the hair for a first approach of the ouchanka.
Other models, monogrammed or covered with floral motifs, lend themselves to eclecticism - which means that the hat is worn with a Swinging London pantsuit and a pair of point-toe pumps. This genius boilerplate has not escaped the pundits of the sphere rap and R'n'B, including Pharrell Williams, who made the toque their flagship.
