Happy 39th Birthday, Sienna Miller! During 2020, the British-American multi-hyphenate starred in a Sundance film, quarantined with her daughter, cut her friends’ hair, and even started work on a new Netflix series. While Miller spent much of the mid-aughts as tabloid-fodder, her early work proves she always had what it took to become a star.

Miller got her start in the modelling industry, booking her first commercial at age 18. In 2003, she appeared in a Bruce Weber-shot Pirelli calendar, and starred in two films the following year. In 2004, Vogue named Miller, then only 22 years old, “girl of the year.” Throughout her career, the multi-talented actress has also appeared in Broadway and West End plays.

Though the famously-witty actress refuses to use social media, her large catalogue of work, along with many revealing, honest interviews, allow her to make her mark on both the film and fashion worlds. For her birthday, L’OFFICIEL revisits key moments from Miller’s early career.
