Inside Kylie Jenner’s $1 Million Bag Collection

The 21-year-old entrepreneur dominated headlines just last month, when she became one of the youngest billionaires in America. Now, she has posted a video detailing her incredible collection of handbags and some of the stories behind them.

In the ‘My Purse Closet Tour’ video, Kylie takes us through row after row of rare it-bags from Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and much more. “This is where I keep all my bags. I made a small room in my house for them and I customized the area so that they would have plenty of space,” explains the owner of Kylie Cosmetics.

Jenner also revealed that her current favorite is the classic Hermès Birkin (of which she has several versions in different sizes and colors). Her reasoning is that the pieces are a great investment and if—God forbid—her house burns down, she would probably save the croc skin Birkin. The mini pink Birkin is also one that Jenner holds close to her heart. Her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, gave it her as a Christmas gift and she has already decided that it will belong to Stormi one day. Another bag being saved for the toddler is a mini Louis Vuitton that Kylie, herself, received from her mother when she was a baby. She looks forward to sharing this extensive collection with her daughter.

The Hermès Birkin is famous for being one of the most expensive objects on the stock exchange and is currently being priced at around $10,000. Taking into account that a Gucci handbag goes for around $2,000 and a Chanel for $5,000, Kylie Jenner’s closet is probably worth more than $1 million.

Other highlights of the tour include a lipstick bag by Judith Lieber (a gift from her other sister, Kim Kardashian-West) and a Louis Vuitton bag customized with a portrait of Jenner’s mother, Kris, and the words “Girls Just Want To Have Fund$."
