The brand's first muse ambassador reimagines the cult Pocket Blush in three shimmery shades, alongside a new lip tint, a butterfly charm, and a carabiner.

When <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/hailey-bieber-debuts-new-beauty-brand-rhode">rhode</a> named <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/alexandra-leclerc-summer-style-dresses-fashion-charles-leclerc-f1-formula-1-wedding-photos">Alexandra Leclerc</a> its first-ever muse ambassador for the 2024 Fall Lip Case campaign, the pairing already made sense. The global fashion influencer, model, and art historian had been reaching for the brand's Pocket Blush as an everyday essential long before there was a contract involved.
Two years later, she has designed her own.
On Sept. 8, rhode announced a limited-edition collaboration with Leclerc, and the centerpiece is Pocket Pearl. It takes the Pocket Blush formula that turned the original into a repeat purchase, shrinks it down, and swaps the finish for something reflective. A new Peptide Lip Tint shade, a butterfly charm, and a carabiner round out the collection.

Pocket Pearl ($16) comes in three shades, and the names do most of the describing. Gemini is a candy pink, Monaco an apricot, Monet a terracotta, each one carrying the shimmer the format is built around. The formula stays light on the skin and holds through the day, but the size is the real argument. At this scale, a blush stops being something that lives on a vanity and becomes something you carry.

The accessories take that literally. The Flutter Charm ($8) is a small butterfly, and the rhode Carabiner ($12) carries the brand's r icon and arrives with a charm cap. Both sell separately, and both exist to attach Pocket Pearl to a bag strap, a belt loop, or whatever is already in hand. Makeup worn as an accessory rather than hidden inside one is a genuinely different proposition, and it is the part of this launch worth watching.
There is also a Peptide Lip Tint in Sweet Apple ($20), a golden brown shot through with shimmer and a scent that lands somewhere near tart apple candy.

None of this came together quickly. After the 2024 campaign, Leclerc co-hosted a rhode dinner in Miami timed to F1 the following year, and the collection reads as an extension of the soft, lit-from-within look she has built a following on. rhode has made a habit of finding people early and giving them room, which is why its launches tend to register as moments rather than restocks.
The rhode and Alexandra Leclerc collection will be available Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 9 a.m. PDT and noon EDT, exclusively at rhodeskin.com.
