In the heart of the Tuileries Garden, fashion rediscovers one of its oldest settings: a place where one sees and is seen. Commissioned by Catherine de Medici and later redesigned under Louis XIV, the gardens have long served as the silent stage for a society on display. This season, they became the overt backdrop for Dior&rsquo;s Fall/Winter 2026 show.
A stroll through the park transformed into a procession. Glances met, silhouettes brushed past one another, and conversations began in hushed tones. For his second ready-to-wear collection for the House, Jonathan Anderson chose to engage with the setting rather than conceal it. The iconic Octagonal Basin&mdash;so often relegated to the background&mdash;became a poetic focal point. Around it, an artificial park unfolded within the real one, blurring the line between nature and artifice. Artificial water lilies floated across the surface, while the collection&rsquo;s floral prints echoed the living blooms lining the pathways. Reality reflected unreality, and vice versa.

A devoted admirer of flowers and the natural world, Jonathan Anderson explores the delicate tension between order and chaos.
