The collection opened with a black lace bra and a tomato-red skirt cut with a high slit, establishing a sharp forumula Prada returned to in numerous guises. This nod to an office-ready wardrobe feels newly negotiable. A shirt can remain crisp without being fully closed; a skirt can surprise with peek-a-boo pop of color; a structured coat might reveal only a flash of floral at the hem. Details such as a twisted satin pouch attached directly to the micro-tops and rhinestone straps pushed the torso-revealing garment beyond lingerie and toward something closer to a styling tool.

This wasn't a collection interested in a seamless final look. Leather jackets and utility-minded outerwear brought weight to lace, florals, and sheer fabrications, while sweater vests, checks, and collared pieces lent a collegiate note to skirts bright with paillettes or crystal detail. The contrasts made each element more legible: softness kept the leather from becoming too severe, while leather stopped the embellishment from slipping into sweetness.

The beauty followed the same logic. Models wore minimal makeup, and many wore their hair in deliberately rumpled, lived-in textures—the kind of just-woke-up style quickly smoothed at the crown—which kept the collection’s polished materials from feeling overly precious. Compact bags, dark sunglasses, and narrow heels supplied a purposeful finish, while the illuminated runway caught the glint of sequins and crystals.

As a whole, the show emphasized that a look could be prim, practical, embellished, sensual, or protective all at once. That flexibility, with the skirt and bra positioned as two of fashion's most adaptable protagonists, was one of the collection’s clearest pleasures.
