For the Fall/Winter 2026 season, Rachel Scott makes her debut at Proenza Schouler with a collection that feels sharp, thoughtful, and very grounded in the city. While she keeps the brand&rsquo;s signature focus on color and craftsmanship, Scott shifts the mood slightly, introducing a woman who is polished but still full of personality.
This Proenza Schouler woman is put-together and detail-oriented&mdash;but she's not overly perfect. Scott plays with that balance throughout the collection. Dresses are softly rumpled, draped, and tucked, giving them a lived-in feel. Skirts twist across the back and fasten with buttons, creating movement and suggesting a woman constantly on the go.
The silhouettes are strong but not stiff. Cropped waists and longer leg lines create a powerful shape, while softer tailoring keeps everything wearable and comfortable. Materials like double-faced wool, matte viscose, and Donegal knits shape the body without feeling restrictive. Silk pieces are pleated and slightly crushed, adding texture without losing structure.&nbsp;
Texture plays a major role. Twisted yarns and woven techniques blur clean lines, and manipulated photographic prints add depth while still feeling modern. The collection also includes updated versions of archival bags, such as the Hex bag, along with clutches and bowlers made from mixed materials. Footwear stands out with exaggerated square toes, elongated kitten heels, and satin sandals with shearling footbeds.
