The 26424 Re-Edition collection for Fall/Winter 2026 breathes new life into the house’s most iconic silhouette.

Nearly three decades after its debut, Fendi is reintroducing the iconic Baguette for Fall/Winter 2026. Named after the original 1997 model code, the new 26424 Re-Edition collection stands out as one of the season's defining accessories.&nbsp;
Originally designed by former Artistic Director Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997, the Baguette took its name from the French loaf traditionally carried tucked beneath the arm. Since its launch, the silhouette has achieved cult status, evolving through more than 1,000 interpretations while remaining instantly recognizable thanks to its compact rectangular shape and signature FF clasp. 
Over the years, the Baguette has become a pop culture icon in its own right, carried by everyone from Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw to Elizabeth Taylor and Rihanna. In a nod to her unforgettable Sex and the City role—where she famously declared, "It's not a bag, it's a Baguette"—Parker was recently spotted carrying a black-and-white Baguette adorned with gold studs at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/fendi-haute-couture-fall-winter-2026-runway-photos-see-all-the-looks-maria-grazia-chiuri-debut-front-row-celebrities">Fendi's Fall 2026 Haute Couture show</a> in Rome.
As seen in the pages of L’OFFICIEL’s July/August 2026 issue, the 26424 Re-Edition collection comprises 20 meticulously crafted designs by Chief Creative Officer Maria Grazia Chiuri. Distinguished by intricate detailing and realized by the master artisans of Chanakya Atelier, each bag is housed in a bespoke wooden art crate worthy of a collector's item.
