With freshwater baroque pearls at the heart of its first edition, Pandora embarks on a whimsical new chapter with the launch of its new Pandora Wonders series.

When it comes to Pandora, two things are guaranteed: undeniable charm and, of course, playful charms. Staying true to its remarkable creative spirit, the Copenhagen-born jewelry brand has announced <a href="https://us.pandora.net/en/collections/pandora-wonders/pearl-charms/?srsltid=AfmBOorberClngln0PPEUdCscgNzdM4Z4kCB63miaUbS33GihRdrYqv4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pandora Wonders</a>, a new creative platform that merges artisanal craftsmanship, material exploration, and visionary talent. Structured as annual editions, Pandora will be collaborating with an international roster of influential tastemakers, each bringing their unique creative vision to each of the capsules. Every edition will center on a distinct material, introducing exciting new dimensions to the ever-evolving (and well-loved) Pandora universe.
To cut the ribbon on this new world of wonders, Pandora called in celebrity stylist Harry Lambert to co-create the first chapter of many. With one-of-a-kind freshwater baroque pearls taking center stage in this inaugural edition, the British creative helped design an assortment of 11 imaginative dangle charms to style and pair in endless imaginative ways.&nbsp;
With playfulness at its core—an attribute that both Lambert and Pandora are famously known for—this limited-release collection features a delightful cast of whimsical characters, from summer-approved <a href="https://us.pandora.net/en/charms/dangle-charms/treated-freshwater-cultured-baroque-pearl-ice-cream-dangle-charm/764620C01.html?product_finding_method=plp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ice-cream cones</a> to <a href="https://us.pandora.net/en/charms/dangle-charms/treated-freshwater-cultured-baroque-pearl-submarine-dangle-charm/764616C01.html?product_finding_method=plp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">deep-sea submarines</a>, each designed to awaken your inner child. “This collection is where nature meets unbridled imagination, part creature, part object, part story. They sit between rarity and play,” said Pandora Creative Directors Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli. “Each one feels discovered, not made, as if drawn from a cabinet of wonders where the ordinary has shifted into something extraordinary.”&nbsp;

Because no two baroque pearls are the same and each one is carefully selected and hand-set by expert artisans for its specific shape, the collection elevates Pandora’s signature approach to personalization to a whole new level. Finished with 14K gold-plated details, each charm carries a distinct sense of humor—a hallmark of Lambert's creative work. Known for styling indisputable cultural icons such as Harry Styles, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/emma-corrin-cover-miu-miu-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emma Corrin</a>, and Alexander Skarsgård, Lambert brings his unmistakable sense of eclecticism and playful perspective into this otherworldly partnership.
Following a warm Parisian summer soirée with attendees by the likes of Paloma Elsesser and Alexa Chung, Pandora is set to bring Pandora Wonders to the U.S with an immersive brand experience in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/new-store-openings-hotels-in-the-hamptons-east-montauk-chanel-boutique" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Montauk</a>, New York. From July 10-12, guests can step inside a captivating pop-up in partnership with Montauk Beach House, transforming imagination into an interactive experience. Bringing this new collection to life in a way only Pandora could, the East is about to be swept up in a new wave of magnetic creativity, enchanting charm, and boundless wonder.
Below, see our full conversation with Lambert, who reflects on the creative process behind the collection.&nbsp;

L'OFFICIEL: There’s a childlike sense of wonder that runs through much of your work. How do you hold on to that spirit in an industry that can sometimes take itself too seriously? How did you approach bringing that distinctive sense of humor into the world of Pandora?
HARRY LAMBERT: I always say when I first started in fashion, I remember travelling from uni to London to intern. I remember my first internship, I felt so scared, and I think it's because I took it very seriously, but also it felt quite intimidating, and I felt like I presented a kind of muted version of myself to the industry. And it wasn't until I realised that being true to my personality—which I'd like to think is quite fun, joyful, and positive—that things really started to work for me in fashion and in the industry.
I think the industry can take itself seriously, and I do take the industry seriously, but as a whole, fashion is a form of escapism and a form of joy-making and storytelling. I think fashion can be—and should be—serious at times, but I do feel like fashion is most successful when there is a sense of joy, a sense of wonder, a sense of fantasy, and dreaminess. And that's what was really compelling about this collection. It felt like serious jewellery, well-made, and really beautiful, but again, mixed with that sense of humour and joy. There's nothing that brings me more joy than when someone asks about what I'm wearing or where it's from. That's what I really found with this collection with Pandora, is the sense of fun and joy that it tends to put on people's faces.&nbsp;
L'O: How do accessories, especially jewelry, influence the way you approach styling and self-expression? What role does jewelry play in defining a look?
HL: I always say that for me, jewellery is like the finale, the cherry on the cake, or the thing that tops off that conversation.&nbsp;
I am a fan of statement pieces when it comes to jewellery. In my personal style, when I wear jewellery, it's usually one piece that really becomes like the focal point of an outfit, but what I love about the world of Pandora is that you can do that with a single charm on a chain or by combining lots of charms together.
When it came to styling this collection in a campaign, we took a slightly different approach by stacking the same charms up on one bracelet, which felt really modern, fabulous, and exciting to me. With some necklaces, we combined charms, but a lot of the time, it really was about letting these individual charms do the talking, and that's what I love to do a lot in my styling.&nbsp; I feel like one really strong piece can sometimes be amazing, but at the same time, I'm really excited to see the Pandora customer mix these freshwater pearl charms in with their own existing collections.
There's something very disruptive about them, but also something very complementary about them that I think is going to be really exciting to add to people's wardrobes.
L'O: You’ve been a massive champion of pearls in modern styling for years, completely redefining who gets to wear them. What is it about freshwater pearls that keeps them so timeless yet so modern?
HL: I think with pearls, there is such a history to them. There's also something so mysterious about them as well. These things that come from the ocean, from a shell, and I just think even through history lessons from when I was a child, the pearl was there, it was present.
It symbolizes luxury to me, but also symbolizes accessibility as well. There's something kind of quite honest about them coming from the ocean. There's just something about them that feels so historic, and I think when you do something with a pearl, whether it be classical or more unique, there's just something that feels so rich with storytelling.&nbsp;Something about pearls just feels like they've lived a life, they've lived a story, and then you've kind of discovered them. I also think that seeing boys wearing pearls with casual daytime clothing and streetwear feels both disruptive and genuine at the same time.&nbsp;

L'O: For this collaboration, you are working specifically with baroque pearls, which are famously unique. How does this celebration of organic imperfection align with your personal philosophy on style?
HL: Each pearl, each part of this collection, is going to be different, so if you buy two of the <a href="https://us.pandora.net/en/charms/dangle-charms/treated-freshwater-cultured-baroque-pearl-pufferfish-dangle-charm/764696C01.html?product_finding_method=plp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">puffer fish pearl charms</a>, they're going to look slightly different, and I think that's what's exciting, but also it shows the craftsmanship. Pandora has the ability to work with irregularities in the pearls to make these beautiful charms.
In styling, I never want to feel too perfect or too pristine or too together, because if I feel too stiff and too perfect, then I don't feel comfortable. So in terms of styling, imperfections are always good, and really, nothing is ever truly perfect.&nbsp;
L'O: Charms are inherently sentimental; people collect them to tell their own stories. What is the one personal memory or object that you kept returning to while co-creating this collection?
HL: <a href="https://us.pandora.net/en/charms/dangle-charms/treated-freshwater-cultured-baroque-pearl-oversized-frog-pendant/764896C01.html?product_finding_method=plp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">T</a><a href="https://us.pandora.net/en/charms/dangle-charms/treated-freshwater-cultured-baroque-pearl-oversized-frog-pendant/764896C01.html?product_finding_method=plp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">he frog</a> is really special to me. We added that to the collection quite late in the creation process. When I was a child, we had a water bucket in our garden, and frogs would spawn and lay tadpoles there. I just remember when they all hatched, all these little frogs were jumping all over the garden and escaping to our neighbour's pond next door. 
So the frog is special to me, but the idea is that there are other charms in the collection that could pick up a memory from anyone, and even if there isn't one that doesn't specifically link to one of your memories, it comes back to that idea of nostalgia. The history of a pearl also gives that feeling of timelessness and storytelling. I think with these charms, you can start making your own stories with them as well.
L'O: The collection includes some beautifully eccentric characters. If you had to pick one charm from the lineup that acts as a mirror to your own personality, which one would it be and why?
HL: I just talked about the frog, but I love ice cream. It's my favorite thing. I'm on holiday at the moment in America. My favorite thing to do is go see the extensive flavors of ice cream that they have, so the ice cream charm holds quite a reflection of myself.
