Though the style is often regarded as a funky, modern look, the labels responsible for the red carpet looks back in 2016 took on the challenge, and thus, the color-blocked celebrity gown was born.&nbsp;</p>
<p>At the 2016 Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift sported the style in a two-piece look that featured bright magenta and lively orange. The singer polished off her awards season ensemble with a sharp bob and a neutral glam look.&nbsp;</p>
