The hockey romance obsession is far from over. After becoming one of Amazon Prime Video&rsquo;s biggest breakout young adult dramas of 2026, Off Campus was renewed for a second season before the first installment had even premiered, a major vote of confidence for the adaptation of&nbsp;Elle Kennedy&rsquo;s bestselling book series. 
While Prime Video has yet to officially announce a premiere date, production for season two is reportedly set to begin this summer, and fans already have plenty of clues about where the series is heading next. From a new central romance to major cast shakeups and a possible spring 2027 release, here&rsquo;s everything we know so far about season two of the internet&rsquo;s latest hockey fixation.

Season two is expected to shift its focus toward Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, pulling inspiration from Kennedy&rsquo;s novel, The Score. Showrunner Louisa Levy confirmed the sophomore season will center around the fan-favorite pair while continuing to expand the Briar University universe. 
Unlike season one&mdash;which primarily followed Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham&rsquo;s romance&mdash;the next installment will reportedly dig deeper into the ensemble dynamics of the hockey team and their evolving relationships. Levy has also teased that the adaptation may continue taking creative liberties with the books, potentially weaving together multiple storylines from across the series.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, fans shouldn&rsquo;t expect to see Justin Kohl around campus next season, as Levy confirmed actor Josh Heuston will be absent from the upcoming chapter.

<h2>Off Campus Season 2 Release Date&nbsp;</h2>

Prime Video has not officially confirmed a release date for season two just yet, but current reports point toward a spring 2027 premiere. 
Season one filmed between June and October 2025 before premiering in May 2026. According to multiple reports, season two is expected to begin filming on June 1, 2026 and wrap in September, suggesting the series could follow a nearly identical production timeline. 
If that schedule holds, fans could realistically expect new episodes to arrive around April or May 2027&mdash;meaning the wait between seasons may be much shorter than most modern streaming dramas.
