There&rsquo;s a new scream queen taking over the internet, and her name is Inde Navarrette.
After the release of Obsession, social media has become flooded with reaction videos, TikTok edits, fan theories, and one recurring sentiment: who is the actress behind Nikki Freeman? Born Danielle Fabiola &ldquo;Inde&rdquo; Navarrette in Tucson, Arizona, the 25-year-old actress first became widely recognized for playing Sarah Cushing on Superman &amp; Lois from 2021 to 2024. Before that, she appeared in series including 13 Reasons Why and Wander Darkly, steadily building a resume filled with emotionally heavy material and darker storytelling.
Still, Obsession feels like a true turning point. The role demanded an intense physical and emotional performance, something Navarrette herself admitted even frightened her while filming. In recent interviews, she described long overnight shoots, emotionally draining scenes, and pulling inspiration from performances like Mia Goth in Pearl.&nbsp;
The film&rsquo;s success has also helped launch Barker into horror&rsquo;s new generation of directors.
