Sarah Burton presents an intimate exploration of the Givenchy world for her latest menswear collection.

When you think of a man's wardrobe, what comes to mind? Well, for Sarah Burton, creative director of Givenchy, the opportunities are endless, colorful, and most importantly, versatile. For her latest menswear collection at Paris Fashion Week, the creative decided to hold a presentation at 3 Avenue George V, where the iconic Givenchy house is located, to focus on the exquisite craftsmanship.
Even though this is Burton's first public endeavor for Givenchy's menswear line, she has been overseeing the brand's collections since her appointment in September 2024. Her extensive background at Alexander McQueen and love for men's tailoring have inspired her womenswear at the historic label.
Before the event, Burton unveiled the first menswear campaign under Givenchy by Sarah Burton, which featured herself and friends of the house, including Don McCullin, Don Letts, and Danny Fox. Shot by Juergen Teller, each star selected a piece from the collection that they wanted to wear and brought the garments to life through lo-fi portraits. The well-known location turned private and became a place to highlight the diversity of men's style.
"I wanted this to feel very personal and intimate," Burton explained in the show notes, "and to reflect the conversations that I have with the friends of the house." For this season, Burton wanted to return to the brand's origins with the term "house." By looking back at the history of Givenchy's menswear, the creative director reconnected the term with its personal roots.
Inside, sculptures by well-known English artist Rachel Whiteread were in dialogue with the 39 looks, which were displayed on mannequins. In each room, a variety of Whiteread-made wardrobe interior moulds, commissioned by Burton, allowed the clothes and art to do all of the talking.
Through a triptych of rooms, three facets of one's wardrobe were highlighted: tailoring, special, and sporty. The opening look, worn by model Pierrick Grégoire, consists of a pointed white cotton shirt, a black double-breasted tailored jacket, matching wide-legged trousers, and glossy black shoes.
House archetypes like fine embroidery, classic aviator jackets, and monogrammed accessories allow for a wide range of outcomes to come to life. Sportswear-inspired leather pieces embody bright color palettes, which are offered in matching sets, statement-making jackets, and sleek pants. Other faces of the collection include Leander Klugmann, Ola Odewale, and Liu Qinzheng.
Even though it is labeled as a men's collection, Burton recognizes the reality that women do buy men's wear and wanted the season's latest offerings to be approachable by anyone. So, if you wanted to have an "Old Masters" floral embroidered tailored coat that matches Look 46 of Givenchy by Sarah Burton's Women's Fall/Winter 2026 Collection, it can finally come to fruition.
This collection not only highlights men's fashion but also how style can influence a certain time in your life while contributing to a vast multigenerational legacy. Whether you want to sport a butter yellow leather trench coat a-la Timothée Chalamet at the 2025 Oscars or feel good in a red puffer jacket, Burton wants to reaffirm one thing: Fashion reflects who you are.
