From TikTok to top spot, Best New Artist nominee, Addison Rae, was pop princess perfection at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

Hollywood sweetheart Addison Rae just added a new title to her throne: Best New Artist nominee at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2026-grammys-red-carpet-looks-celebrities-singers-actors-models-dresses-suits-winners-nominees-performers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2026 Grammys</a>. Thanks to the nomination, she was invited to perform her hit single, Fame Is a Gun, a synth-pop track exploring the woes of fame from her debut album, Addison. The performance took place in the studio backlot of the Crypto.com Arena with Rae riding in on the edge of a truck, purple trench in tow, only to drop her coat and reveal a barely-there sparkly set featuring a violet bra and shorts. Rae also stepped out in knee high Louboutins and simple glam to complete the look. While performing, Rae ripped &ldquo;WANTED&rdquo; posters plastered with her face on them off the truck with backup dancers, Scarlet Aviram and Yuli Maldonado, beside her. Rae then twirled around in the arms of body guards before hitting her original Fame Is a Gun music video choreography, produced by Danielle Polanco.
Earlier in the evening, Rae stepped out on the red carpet in a white, custom Ala&iuml;a dress styled by celebrity stylist and dear friend, Dara Allen. While not confirmed, the dress paid homage to the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, when Rae wore a similar look by Miss Claire Sullivan, whose fluffy tulle material was deemed unforgettable. However, Rae&rsquo;s Ala&iuml;a number was an asymmetrical triangular skirt and a deep V-neckline. And of course, the look wouldn&rsquo;t be made her own without sparkles scattered across her stomach. Rae&rsquo;s not interested in something basic, as revealed time and time again through lyrics like, &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t need your drugs / I&rsquo;d rather get high fashion.&rdquo;

Rae stood among several other members of the Best New Artist category, including Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, The Marias and sombr, with Dean ultimately <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/who-is-olivia-dean-best-new-artist-winner-grammys-2026-singer-songs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">taking the win.</a>&nbsp;

Just days before the Grammys, Rae performed "Diet Pepsi" at Spotify&rsquo;s Grammy Awards Best New Artist Party at The Lot at Formosa on January 29, 2026 in West Hollywood, California. Clearly now an experienced performer on all kinds of stages, although Best New Artist wasn't hers to take home, surely this won't be the last we see of the pop It girl.&nbsp;
