After two years of rumors, soft launches, and increasingly bold declarations of love on Instagram, Gracie Abrams and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/paul-mescal-dating-history-gracie-abrams-daisy-edgar-jones-phoebe-bridgers-drama" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paul Mescal</a> have finally made their relationship red carpet official. The couple stepped out together at the 2026 BAFTAs, marking the first time they&rsquo;ve posed side by side at a major awards show, and confirming what fans have long known.
Their romance was first reported in 2023 by celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi, but it didn&rsquo;t take long for the whispers to turn into public sightings. In 2024, the pair were photographed holding hands outside Michelin-starred restaurant Brat in London&rsquo;s Shoreditch neighborhood, with additional reports placing them shopping together on Bond Street. That fall, they were spotted kissing after Abrams&rsquo; Radio City Music Hall performance and later seen hand in hand following her Saturday Night Live appearance. By the time Mescal was promoting Gladiator II, Abrams was quietly inorbit.&nbsp;

In February 2025, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/gracie-abrams-paul-mescal-dating-glastonbury-festival-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Abrams</a> all but confirmed the relationship in a Cosmopolitan cover story, sharing that love should &ldquo;feel like home&rdquo; and that her standards were &ldquo;a high bar to clear.&rdquo; Months later, she made it Instagram-official at Glastonbury, posting a video of herself perched on Mescal&rsquo;s shoulders while singing The Cure&rsquo;s &ldquo;Friday I&rsquo;m in Love.&rdquo; Since then, birthday tributes and heartfelt captions&mdash;&ldquo;I love him, surprise&rdquo;&mdash;have replaced speculation.
Still, a red carpet debut hits differently and is most certainly a special right of passage for all new celebrity couples.&nbsp;
