<p class="p1">Following <i>Bizaardvark</i>, Rodrigo continued her career in <i>High School Musical: The Musical: The Series </i>where Rodrigo dated yet another co-star, Joshua Bassett. Dating for a year, Bassett then went on to date Sabrina Carpenter. Many fans have linked her lyrics to Carpenter, noting similarities in blonde hair, age, and more. However, Rodrigo denied any songwriting commonalities.&nbsp;<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Bassett also shut down the rumors in&nbsp;<em>GQ</em>,&nbsp;</span>encouraging folks to uplift both Rodrigo and Carpenter.</p>

<p class="p1">Staying within the talent realm, Rodrigo then began dating music producer Adam Faze. Attending <em>Space Jam 2</em> as a duo in 2022, they split after just shy of a year of dating. While the pair never confirmed their relationship, <em>PEOPLE</em> did report a split. Not to mention, some fans linked her single “Vampire” to him.</p>

<p class="p1">In February 2022, Rodrigo was spotted with Zack Bia at a post-Super Bowl party in New York City. Bia, a DJ, and he were reported to hit it off, with sources noting they were casually seeing each other while she attended his sets. However, according to <em>Us Weekly</em> in August of that same year, it was said that the relationship fizzled, due to their work schedules and different friend groups. However, fans did believe “Fame Sucker” was directed toward him, although Bia denied it. Bia also noted in an interview with <em>GQ</em> that there was never any drama.</p>

<p class="p1">First linking in October 2023 after a London-based appearance, it was reported that Rodrigo originally flew out to see her pal, Conan Gray, but it was believed that her love interest, Louis Partridge, was the one Rodrigo actually traveled for, having met Partridge earlier at a mutual friend’s event earlier in the year. While some labeled it as a whirlwind romance, as the two were spotted at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, Wimbledon, and with much PDA in New York and London, they were reported to have gone their separate ways come December 2025. And yes, fans do believe “Drop Dead” was inspired by Partridge.</p>
