NOMAD's inaugural U.S. edition brings together leading galleries, artists, and designers for four days of art, architecture, and design.

Part boutique fair, part cultural gathering, NOMAD travels the globe to showcase collectible design and contemporary art. Following acclaimed editions in St. Moritz, Monaco, Capri, and Abu Dhabi, NOMAD arrives in the United States for the first time, transforming The Watermill Center in the Hamptons into an immersive destination from June 25 to 28.
Founded by curator and architect Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, NOMAD is built on the belief that the setting is as important as the work itself. Presenting art and design within architecturally and culturally significant locations deepens the dialogue between object, place, and audience. That philosophy resonates naturally with The Watermill Center, the multidisciplinary arts laboratory founded by visionary artist Robert Wilson, whose emphasis on experimentation, collaboration, and artistic exchange mirrors NOMAD's own ethos.&nbsp;
Spanning the center's architecture, gardens, and outdoor grounds, the inaugural U.S. edition brings together an international roster of galleries, designers, and artists, marking a pivotal new chapter in the fair's expanding global program. <h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">Experience Giorgio Armani's Vision Beyond Fashion</h2>

As the official partner of NOMAD Hamptons, Giorgio Armani brings the second chapter of Giorgio Armani/Unveiled to The Watermill Center. The exhibition pairs commissioned works by U.S.-based artists Ariel Dearie and Jonathan Kline with furniture and tabletop pieces from Armani/Casa, alongside archival looks from Armani/Archivio.&nbsp;
The presentation pays tribute to the decades-long creative connection between Giorgio Armani and Robert Wilson, whose shared creative pursuits have traversed theatre, fashion, and the visual arts. Outdoors, an interactive textile installation by Rachel Hayes carries the collaboration into the landscape, transforming the South Lawn into an extension of the exhibition itself.

Designer Ippolita Rostagno traces gold's journey from raw material to finished jewel, while Silvia Furmanovich spotlights global craft traditions through collaborations with artisans across Brazil, Japan, India, and Central Asia. New York-based TABAYER showcases sculptural pieces crafted from richly colored stones, blurring the boundaries between jewelry, symbolism, and contemporary design.

Explore material innovation, craftsmanship, and the relationship between art and everyday life through Gallery FUMI's exhibition of functional objects and sculpture, Mathieu Lehanneur's survey of works inspired by natural forces and human experience, and GLIF – Altered Heritage by Habif Mimarlık, which reimagines historical furniture through architectural interventions.

<h2 style="text-align: center;">Step Into Robert Wilson's Creative Universe</h2>

As the home of NOMAD's inaugural U.S. edition, The Watermill Center's founder Robert Wilson remains a central presence throughout the fair. Several exhibitions offer rare insight into his creative universe. Gio Ponti × Robert Wilson: Correspondence explores the dialogue between the two visionaries through drawings, ceramics, and archival materials. Additional projects feature photographs by Dominique Nabokov, objects from Wilson's personal collection, and guided visits to his apartment, providing an intimate look at the artist's lifelong engagement with collecting, design, and scenography.

<h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">Discover Art Across Borders</h2>

Reflecting NOMAD's international outlook, several presentations explore cultural exchange across regions and disciplines. Leila Heller Gallery brings together artists from the Middle East and beyond in an exhibition inspired by Robert Wilson's interdisciplinary vision. Iris Projects presents works by Emirati artist Juma Al Haj. Developed in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi, Rooted Movements examines connections that endure across distance and time through the work of three Emirati artists.&nbsp;

<h2 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">Wander Through Art in the Landscape</h2>

The NOMAD Sculpture Grounds decorate pathways and gathering spaces with large-scale works, including a new sound sculpture by Sébastien Léon that adds an immersive dimension to the landscape. The Spaceless Gallery, too, extends its installations from indoors to beyond the gallery walls. Together, these projects underscore one of the fair's defining ideas: art is shaped not only by the objects on display, but also by the environments in which they are encountered.
