Whitney Gala

Last week, New York City’s Whitney Museum celebrated its annual Gala and Studio Party in style, while also raising $4.8M. This year’s Gala was sponsored by Audi and marked the third anniversary of the Museum’s move to the downtown area and honored artist Lorna Simpson, longtime Trustees Joanne Leonhardt Cassullo and Beth Rudin DeWoody, and its past year of achievements.

Studio Party

Of course, no gala would be complete without a killer after party. Hailey Baldwin, Jemima Kirke, Dev Hynes, Mark Eckhaus, and more fabulous faces were dressed to the nine at the event sponsored by both Audi and Michael Kors. Guests mixed and mingled while raking in the Museum’s exhibitions on view: Zoe Leonard: Survey; Grant Wood: American Gothic and Other Fables; An Incomplete History of Protest: Selections from the Whitney’s Collection, 1940–2017; Where We Are: Selections from Whitney’s Collection, 1900–1960; and Between the Waters.
