<p>From May 19 to 21, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) returns to the Javits Center for <span>its 35th anniversary, promising a curated and interactive experience. With over 450 global exhibitors showcasing contemporary furniture, lighting, textiles, and more, ICFF remains North America&rsquo;s premier design fair, offering networking opportunities and access to the latest industry knowledge. This year's highlights include Bespoke: The Art of Making, The Library in partnership with Phaidon, OFS x ROOM podcast launch, and dedicated areas for complementary products such as Materials, Outdoor Living, and Kitchen &amp; Bath.&nbsp; At the core of the fair, The Crossroads exhibition curated by David Rockwell and Pei-Ru Keh will spotlight sustainability efforts in design, emphasizing craft traditions and circularity.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span>Design Dysphoria, an exhibition curated by Studio S II founders Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberberg, along with Liz Collins and Grace Whiteside, is set to debut in Bushwick, New York, during NYCxDesign on May 17. This queer designer-led showcase features works by 17 architects, artists, and designers, predominantly women, nonbinary, and trans individuals, aiming to spotlight the significance of queer creative spaces in shaping LGBTQIA+ art and design. Through vignettes displaying furniture, lighting fixtures, textile art, and interactive design objects, the exhibition fosters connections and a sense of belonging within the LGBTQIA+ community. There will be an opening invite-only party on May 17, but the exhibition will be open to appointments from May 18 to May 19 and open to the public from May 20 to May 25.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">SoHo Design District marks its 10th anniversary this year, commemorating a decade of immersive design experiences, vibrant networking opportunities, and boundless creativity alongside top design brands and an expanding community of professionals and enthusiasts. Explore the forefront of design innovations at the May Festival from May 16th to 23rd, culminating in the spirited celebration of SoHo Design Day on Saturday, May 18th. Among the most highly-anticipated exhibitions is Zafferano's flagship showroom, where attendees can see the brand's complete product line&mdash;from colored glassware to cordless lighting. Here, it will also debut its new tableware collections.&nbsp;</span></p>

Crafted during founder David Weeks' fellowship at the American Academy in Rome, SCOPO showcases the studio's signature minimalist aesthetic with its spine-like curvature and soft spotlight projections. Composed of thin brass sheets and adorned with unique details like a custom plum bob filled with 35-year-old whiskey, the fixture offers a sensory-stimulating experience. Divided into four distinct ranges and spanning pendants, chandeliers, and wall sconces, the collection merges brass with glass, acrylic, and leather. The showcase occurs in Lee Broom's elegantly designed Penthouse, a duplex apartment serving as both a showroom and the designer's residence, boasting sustainable restoration and breathtaking views of New York City's iconic skyline.
