If one had to describe the bathroom of London's Annabel's club in a single phrase, it would be "Alice In Acid-Land." Thus, it came as little surprise when it was revealed that this bathroom was designed by none other than celebrity make-up artist and brand owner, Charlotte Tilbury.
In an interview with Refinery29, Tilbury explained that this is part of a long-term collaboration wherein the make-up artist holds a position on the club's creative council. In addition to creating the bathroom design, her role will include developing a make-up scheme for the employees - a scheme consisting of neutral makeup for the day shifts, and golden smokey eyes paired with red matte lipstick for the evening.
A hang out for the world's models, actors, rock stars, designers and royals (including Queen Elizabeth II, herself), Annabel's has had a rich history since its opening in 1963. Now, patrons can enjoy updated concepts and designs as they walk through the extravagant doors that have been finally re-opened after a brief hiatus.
