As the fashion world descends on Paris for another whirlwind season of runway moments and star-studded front rows, rising soul-pop singer Chelsea Jordan is stepping confidently into the spotlight. Attending the latest show from Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week, Jordan continues to cement herself as one of the most exciting new voices in music. With her highly anticipated EP arriving March 20 and a run of spring tour dates supporting Australian pop sensation Ruel across North America, the singer is poised for a defining year.&nbsp;
But on this particular day in Paris, music briefly takes a backseat to fashion. For Jordan, choosing a look for the Miu Miu show started with a simple priority. &ldquo;For me, comfort is always the first thing I look for because if I&rsquo;m comfortable, I&rsquo;m able to show up as the best version of myself, energetically,&rdquo; she explains.&nbsp;
Being invited to the show itself was a full-circle moment for the rising artist. &ldquo;Miu Miu has been one of my favorite brands for a while now, and I&rsquo;m incredibly grateful to have received an invitation,&rdquo; Jordan says. While she&rsquo;s eager to see the collection debut on the runway, she admits that the crowd is just as exciting. &ldquo;Fashion shows are so interesting because everyone shows up looking their best, but it&rsquo;s slightly catered to which show you&rsquo;re going to.&rdquo;&nbsp;
And after the buzz of the runway fades? Jordan prefers a quieter side of Paris. &ldquo;My go-to unwind spot is just any restaurant or bar in Paris where I can sit for hours and have a drink with my friends,&rdquo; she says. Ahead of the Miu Miu show, we caught up with Chelsea Jordan to talk personal style, tour essentials, and the small details that make Paris Fashion Week such a memorable experience. L'OFFICIEL: How did you decide on your look for the Miu Miu show today? Was there a specific piece or vibe you knew you wanted to lean into?&nbsp;
CHELSEA JORDAN: For me, comfort is always the first thing I look for because if I&rsquo;m comfortable, I&rsquo;m able to show up as the best version of myself, energetically. This look I&rsquo;m wearing today immediately spoke to me because it&rsquo;s chic and classy, but also has a casual, laid-back feel to it. I love when a look can do both.&nbsp;
L'O: Paris Fashion Week is a dream for so many creatives. What excites you most about attending the Miu Miu show this season?
CJ: Miu Miu has been one of my favorite brands for a while now, and I&rsquo;m incredibly grateful to have received an invitation. I am most excited to see not only the new collection, but how all the other attendees are going to be dressed. Fashion shows are so interesting because everyone shows up looking their best, but it&rsquo;s slightly catered to which show you&rsquo;re going to.&nbsp;&nbsp;I find it fascinating to see everyone else&rsquo;s interpretation of the brand through their own lens. I&rsquo;m also really excited to hear the music selection for the show&hellip; I think if I were throwing a show, the music selection would stress me out the most.&nbsp;

L'O: You&rsquo;re going on tour with&nbsp;Ruel,&nbsp;and tour life means living out of a suitcase. What are your must-have beauty or wellness essentials that keep you feeling like yourself on the road?&nbsp;
CJ: I&rsquo;m not gonna lie, it might be hard for me to live out of a suitcase for this tour, but I&rsquo;m looking forward to the challenge. My must-have beauty essentials are my Sacheu lip stains, my Summer Fridays lip butter balm, and my Saie beauty mascara. My wellness essentials are my vocal steamer, fresh ginger, and turmeric for my morning tea, and my buoy electrolytes.&nbsp;
L'O: Does your stage style differ from your everyday fashion? Or do the two worlds influence each other?
CJ: I think they differ slightly, but something I&rsquo;d wear on stage is definitely something I would also wear [in] my everyday life. I don&rsquo;t really think there are two different versions of me. What you see is what you get; however, on stage, I love flared jeans with a more fitted top and some fun accessories.&nbsp;&nbsp;In my everyday, I feel like I&rsquo;m wearing a baggier pair of pants more than a flare, but specifically for this tour, I want to be in flare jeans every single show.&nbsp;

L'O: Every It girl has her signature. What&rsquo;s the one thing you do, wear, or swear by that makes people go, &ldquo;Yep, that&rsquo;s so you&rdquo;?
CJ: Sunglasses and hats are my go-to accessories. I always have people sending me pictures of cool hats that remind them of me, and I&rsquo;m honored. I think you can take any basic fit, throw on some accessories, and make it something special.&nbsp;
L'O:&nbsp;Finally, where&rsquo;s your go-to unwind spot after a hectic Fashion Week&mdash;spa, salon, coffee shop, bakery, or somewhere else?
CJ: My go-to unwind spot is just any restaurant or bar in Paris where I can sit for hours and have a drink with my friends. Paris is so good at taking me offline and allowing me to connect with the people around me over something as simple as a coffee or glass of wine, without a 90-minute time limit like we have everywhere in the US. I get to lose track of time and just enjoy while I&rsquo;m here.
