The decorations of the Palace of Versailles inspire scrollwork embroideries evoking the Queen's gilded cabinet, while floral bouquets from her bedroom tapestries are reborn through the delicate micro-bead sandblasting, an emblematic technique of the era. Capri trousers reinterpret the breeches of the French formal suit, "follow-me-young-man" ribbons extend hairstyles like a trail, while shades of cuisse de nymphe,&nbsp;royal blue, fresh mint, or flamingo pink reactivate the chromatic imagination of the Age of Enlightenment.

But far from a historical reconstruction, Duran Lantink is primarily interested in the paradoxical dimension of courtly clothing. Even an old biker jacket is deconstructed before finding a new life as a patchwork jacket.
The Gaultier spirit permeates even the most unexpected details. The iconic Le Mâle fragrance is evoked by a monumental medallion containing a bouquet of white lavender, transforming the garment into a sensory object where olfactory memory merges with couture creation.
The accessories extend this dialogue between heritage and innovation. The jewelry, inspired by the traditional Zeeuwse knopen of Dutch costumes, pays homage to the designer's origins. Enlarged to become veritable pieces of armor, these galvanized metal ornaments adorn the ears or envelop the hair, further reinforcing the protective and sculptural dimension of the silhouettes.

The color palette accompanies this narrative. Bordeaux, an emblematic shade in the history of Jean Paul Gaultier, forms the anchor of the collection before engaging in dialogue with an intense royal blue, mint greens, powdery or vibrant pinks, in a harmony that oscillates between theatricality and delicacy.
