In her last solo collection, Miuccia Prada enlists 5 global creatives from Willy Vanderperre to Juergen Teller, to show the latest men's collection in a new way.

Miuccia strikes again. Prada&#39;s Multiple Views video presentations&nbsp;offers a glimpse of the&nbsp;men&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/loewe-mens-spring-2021-show-in-a-box" target="_blank">Spring Summer 2021</a>&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/how-to-stream-attend-digital-fashion-week" target="_blank">fashion show</a> that never happened. Instead of a typical runway show in Milan, Prada posted&nbsp;the new men&#39;s and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chanel-fall-winter-2020-21-haute-couture" target="_blank">women&#39;s collection</a>&nbsp;via short videos on Instagram, enlisting&nbsp;the skills of five talented <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/french-girls-instagram-fashion-follow" target="_blank">global creatives</a>:&nbsp;Terence Nance, Joanna Piotrowska, Martine Syms, Juergen Teller and Willy Vanderperre. Each captured a different perspectives of the spring collection, Prada&#39;s last as solo creative director.

More than ever, the style is neat and honest, using the essential colors: white, black, gray along with&nbsp;a few delicate prints and lace decorations for women. &quot;In all honesty, I think our job as <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/popular-instagram-fashion-brands" target="_blank">fashion</a> stylists is to create clothes for people. This is really the value of our work, creating beautiful and intelligent clothes. This season we have focused on this idea: putting clothes at the center and giving value to the garments,&quot; says Miuccia Prada. &quot;The clothes are simple - but with the concept of simplicity as an antidote to unnecessary complication. This is a moment that requires some seriousness, a moment to think and reflect on things. What do we do, what is fashion for, what are we here for? What is the contribution that fashion can make to a community?&quot;

The men&#39;s silhouettes in this collection vary&nbsp;between sporty and formal to classic and futurist while retaining an overall&nbsp;refined and sharp look. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/bulgari-Barocko-collection-2020-high-jewelry" target="_blank">The collection</a>&#39;s few oversized outerwear coats are crafted with nylon and stretch materials that deviate from menswear&#39;&nbsp;traditional suits. For the shantung dresses, the fabrics take on volumes and widths that appears <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-haute-couture-fall-2020-outfits" target="_blank">almost couture</a>. Among the looks presented, the most striking is the black suits: the offspring of a mixture&nbsp;between workwear&#39;s creased textures and techniques and tailored suits&#39; linear and elegant silhouettes while also incorporating&nbsp;nylon, leathers, cotton, and iridescent fabrics.

&quot;Since the collection pieces have a &#39;60s feeling to them, I tried to include several references to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/watch-stream-july-2020-movies-tv" target="_blank">cinema culture</a> and surveillance/sousveillance from that time period and the present,&quot;&nbsp;says Martine Syms who directed&nbsp;Chapter IV.&nbsp; &quot;I&#39;m inspired by the way screens have come to make and unmake us&mdash;and what it means to be living, breathing, moving, fleshy things in a world full of them.&quot;

Prada&#39;s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dior-couture-fall-2020-surrealist-collection" target="_blank">latest collection</a> also features leather squared skirts and jackets, lightweight jersey for tracksuits and&nbsp;high waisted culottes, a single micro floral print, and a plethora&nbsp;of white shirts making the collection <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/shop-black-swimsuits-bikinis" target="_blank">forever</a> elegant and versatile.&nbsp;No heels are present&nbsp;but only rounded or pointed ballet flats along with tech fabric leggings that go&nbsp;past the heel.&nbsp;Prada delivers an&nbsp;honest tale composed of simple clothes that are suitable for dressing in our complex times. Where everything seems superfluous and distressing, Miuccia Prada returns to simplicity as&nbsp;the only way to endure.
