Rick Owens presents his Spring/Summer 2026 womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/rick-owens-fall-winter-2025-mens-runway-review" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rick Owens</a> brought his uncompromising vision back to Paris with his Spring/Summer 2026 women&rsquo;s collection, Temple. Shown at the Palais de Tokyo, the lineup echoed the designer&rsquo;s men&rsquo;s show earlier this year while leaning further into the dualities that define his work.&nbsp;
The collection unfolded in Owens&rsquo; signature palette of black, charcoal, and deep greys, punctuated by the occasional sheen of metallic or latex. Sheer fabrics&mdash;nylon tulles and chiffon&mdash;were layered against heavyweight leathers and industrial nylon, creating a dialogue between transparency and density. Latex-dipped sequins, hand-positioned and polished to a deliberately &ldquo;crusty&rdquo; finish, caught the light in a way that felt both decadent and raw.
&nbsp;Cropped trench coats were paired with elongated vests to form two-piece outerwear sets. Micro-biker jackets came fringed with leather, while oversized flight jackets hinted at softness through cotton candy-like textures. Tank dresses revealed glimpses of lingerie, the result of a collaboration with Parisian label Livy, adding intimacy to the architectural severity. Shoulders, a recurring Owens motif, were stripped to hardened metallic forms that supported fluid, sweeping gowns.
Texture was a defining force in the collection. Rubber accents, slashed leathers, spiked detailing, and nylon skirts emphasized industrial toughness, while flowing chiffon and feather-light tulles reminded us of his adept ability to balance hard and soft. His collaboration with cult punk band Suicide further informed the deconstructed leathers and sculptural hides produced in Japan.
Owens described the collection as &ldquo;tough clothes for tough times,&rdquo; and the sentiment was clear. The result was classic Rick Owens: dark, daring, and powerful.
