Over the weekend, a bevy of bra-clad supermodels made their way to Shanghai for the legendary 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The lineup is a veritable who's who in the modeling world, with everyone from veteran angels like Alessandra Ambrosio to relative newcomers like Bella Hadid (sadly strutting the runway without her sister, Gigi, who was banned from entering China due to a past social media post that the government deemed offensive). And while the lingerie label has made significant strides when it comes to diversity in recent years, it still has a long ways to go when it comes to body size—a fact that supermodel and activist Ashley Graham cheekily called out in an Instagram post.
Aside from her numerous magazine covers (including American Vogue), Graham has made a name for herself not only being vocal about more body size representation in the fashion industry, but also for being a successful businesswoman; her all-inclusive lingerie line, Addition Elle (worn by Graham in the photo posted above), makes it clear that her commitment to changing beauty and size standards is more than just talk—she's actually doing something about it.
Will there come a time when we get to see Graham strut down the VS catwalk alongside her supermodel peers? We certainly hope so.
