Life and style during quarantine has proved to be a creative challenge, but it didn't take long for many of us to put together our best WFH fits, and dream up all the things we want to wear in our post-isolation lives. Now as warmer, summer weather approaches we might be plotting ways to wear our favorite swimsuits and other summer attire. Yet most importantly, with those warmer temperatures comes one of the most widely expected seasonal wardrobe transitions: wearing white, or more specifically the perfect summery white dress.

Yes we've all heard the clichéd rule of 'not wearing white after Labor Day', which doesn't really specify when exactly 'winter whites' become acceptable, but that's a conversation for a different time. The little white dress is the quintessential warm weather staple piece. It seems like an instant transport into summer Fridays, vacations and the sport of avoiding grass stains and barbeque sauce from ruining your perfect prairie-themed frock. While we don't have a crystal ball for summer gatherings in 2020, we do know these are the perfect white dresses we will be wearing no matter if we are indoors or in a vineyard.

Sandy Liang

Downtown-cool designer Sandy Liang has last summer's  prairie-core forecasted to still be the dominant trend in white dresses. While we are excited to see what new trends come with the season, we must say, we still can't resist a good ruffle either.

Need something a bit more formal? Try this cotton Fendi dress in their signature logo motif. While the cotton fabric still allows you the option to style this piece more dressed down with perhaps a pair of sneakers, most people will probably still think the "FF's" stand for fancy.
