With Boloria, Olivier Theyskens opens a new chapter in his creative journey, outlining the identity of a house that makes delicacy its language. Borrowing its name from a type of butterfly, the brand celebrates the beauty of the fleeting, that luminous apparition that vanishes yet never ceases to inhabit our memories. A metaphor for fashion itself, whose vocation is to transcend time as much as the seasons.
Entitled "The Floating World," this first Spring/Summer 2027 collection unfolds in a space where perspectives blur and eras converse. Historical references merge into a profoundly contemporary vision, while dream and reality intertwine to create a wardrobe designed for all genders. More than a succession of silhouettes, Theyskens envisions a wardrobe that is sustainable in its spirit, capable of accompanying lives far beyond the moment of the runway.

Memory permeates every creation. The designer summons an imaginary heritage, nourished by Belgian culture, its landscapes, its materials, and its soft light. The colors evoke the northern plains, the fabrics tell a story of understated luxury: cashmere and wool of exquisite fineness, charmeuse silk, cotton with an almost impalpable feel, ethereal silk lace. Each fabric seems to carry within it a silent story.
This attention to the past is also expressed in the construction of the garments. Careful linings, tailored details, and techniques inherited from bygone eras: the tailoring embodies a commitment to craftsmanship that blends tradition and modernity. Some reversible pieces even reveal their interior, offering a second layer of interpretation and celebrating a virtuosity that has become rare.
