The men's artistic director of Dior loved his Stone Island collab so much, he modeled it himself.

There&rsquo;s a looming feeling at any runway show or catalog that the elegant models so perfectly wearing each piece lacks a certain personality to them that the designers push through their work. For <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dior-pre-fall-2024-show-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior&rsquo;s</a> collaboration with Stone Island, men&rsquo;s artistic director Kim Jones wanted to make sure that would never be the case, so he became his own model.&nbsp;
As part of the collaboration&rsquo;s ongoing campaign, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/fendi-spring-summer-2024-haute-couture-runway-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kim Jones</a> posed for photographer David Simms to answer 100 questions for Hans Ulrich Obrist in Dior&rsquo;s ongoing series&mdash;all while wearing the black lambskin field jacket from the collab.&nbsp;
Jones is a handsome guy, but wearing the jacket himself instead of putting it on the body of a model doesn&rsquo;t just help will-be shoppers and fashion enthusiasts from connecting to the piece themselves as a more human approach to fashion, but it shows Jones&rsquo;s own passion for the project and belief in its success.&nbsp;

The heavy, oversized jacket is a perfect fit for the boxy silhouette that the campaign is looking for, fitting over existing outfits or to zip all the way up like Jones has for a bold look that stands out.&nbsp;
Jones&rsquo;s answers to the questions posed also speak to his personal style. In his responses, he calls time a man-made invention, how he listens to Max Richter while working, and the impressive art collection in his home featuring Bacon, Modigliani, Freud, and Matisse.&nbsp;
The end result being that the jacket and collaboration with Stone Island aren&rsquo;t just approachable and backed by Jones&rsquo;s personal confidence in the project but an aspirational guide for those looking to step into Jones&rsquo;s creative shoes.&nbsp;
