<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/fendi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fendi</a> is celebrating its centennial in 2025 with an unexpected collaboration that unites luxury craftsmanship with heritage for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/spring-summer-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spring/Summer 2025</a>. The Italian fashion house partnered with American footwear brand Red Wing to create a collection of work boots that embody both artisanal excellence and utilitarian strength. As Fendi reaches its one-hundredth year and Red Wing marks 120 years, the two legacy brands are merging their distinct savoir-faire for a footwear piece that is as functional as it is fashion-forward.

They&rsquo;re made for busy women," Fendi Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi said in a press release.
At the heart of the collaboration is the Red Wing Heritage Classic Moc, a work boot originally introduced in 1952 and known for its durability and structure. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/fendi-spring-summer-2025-collection-milan-fashion-week" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fendi,</a> renowned for its leatherwork and signature detailing, elevates the silhouette with its luxurious Cuoio Romano leather, meticulous Selleria hand-stitching, and a sienna red and natural beige color palette. The result is a boot that blends the rugged, no-nonsense spirit of American workwear with the elegance of Italian craftsmanship. Scott Keenan directed the launch's campaign.

A standout detail is the inclusion of Fendi&rsquo;s iconic FF interlace motif, a technique typically reserved for its handbags. This intricate threading is done entirely by hand by artisans at the Fendi Factory in Capannuccia, Tuscany&mdash;an intensive process that requires five hours for each pair. Once completed, the boots travel to the United States, where Red Wing&rsquo;s shoemakers assemble them using techniques that have been passed down for over a century. The Fendi x Red Wing partnership involves more than 30 artisans and 80 individual steps that go into producing each pair, highlighting the dedication and mastery both brands bring to the table.
