Rihanna just shot a lookbook for her newest limited edition FENTY collection Release 6-19, and this one definitely appeals to the good girls gone bad. Showcasing internationally-inspired vacation clothing and accessories, Release 6-19 will be available in two separate installments starting June 19, 2019. The latest drop, rendered in light textiles and intended for escape, snatches your attention with bold colors and striking prints that will make you do a double-take.
FENTY’s newest collection of decorative dresses unleashes a confident and fearless side of FENTY using satin, knit, and jersey fabric with asymmetrical and cinched detailing to hug the body tight. The silhouettes flaunt freedom and underscore the female form with elegance. Taking inspiration from around the world, Release 6-19 includes dragon prints inspired by Japanese paintings coupled with warm gradient colors meant to mimic a sunset by the beach. Rihanna refines the Maison’s aesthetic with pearl-embellished belly chains, twisted renditions of bangles, beaded earrings, and other contemporary accessories that compliment the sharply constructed dresses.
Eyewear, a vital element of the Maison, is once again featured in the Release with two new styles: The Techno Mask and the Centerfold. The Techno Mask takes a unique shape that almost shields the entire face and comes in a variety of colors ranging from warm gradients to smoky black. The Centerfold, which will be available in July, comes in three hues and holds a futuristic, laser-cut form that easily collapses allowing for a foldable transformation. Rihanna updates FENTY’s footwear as well, introducing new colors and a new shape available with this Release. Canary yellow, hot pink and various other hues adorned in strass crystals join the collection of colors available for FENTY’s acute silhouettes. As for the shape, Rihanna debuts the T-Heel as a sensually strapped sandal that’s ready for any occasion.
FENTY Release 6-19 will be available online starting June 19, 2019, at FENTY.com and at a special New York City pop-up at The Webster from June 19 to June 30, 2019.
