Graceful femininity meets nostalgia in this soon-to-be sought-after collaboration.&nbsp;

Intertwining their design philosophies rooted in joyful, whimsical style, Gap and Sandy Liang have come together to present a collaborative collection of wardrobe staples, transformed by each label's signature sartorial codes.
The collection&mdash;complete with pieces like pleated denim mini skirts, cropped vegan fur jackets, and low-waisted carpenter jeans, plus, plenty of bow motif appearances&mdash;represents the heritage and iconography of each label, bringing together Gap's most recognizable styles, like the classic logo hoodie, and Sandy Liang's delicate, romantic aesthetic.&nbsp;
Both Sandy Liang and Gap may be beloved by Gen Z, but at its core, the collaboration speaks across all generations&mdash;the capsule even features baby and toddler-sized iterations of womenswear pieces.&nbsp;
Gap and Sandy Liang invite us further into their worlds with the short animated film, "Sandy's Dream Closet," created by artist Annie Choi. The narrative follows Sandy Liang herself, as she navigates her childhood in New York City, and imagines her future as a designer&mdash;a dream ultimately realized in the Gap x Sandy Liang pieces, both in the film and IRL.&nbsp;

&ldquo;Growing up, Gap was the pinnacle of fashion. It&rsquo;s incredible that I get to co-create with such an iconic brand that I treasured so much as a child, yet is still so relevant today,&rdquo; said Sandy Liang in a release. &ldquo;&lsquo;Sandy&rsquo;s Dream Closet&rsquo; illustrates how wearing Gap made me feel growing up, as I imagined being an adult one day and who I could be. I wanted to take the pieces that meant something to me as a kid and reimagine them through my lens today&mdash;celebrating girlhood in all its forms, while honoring the iconic styles that make Gap so timeless.&rdquo;
The already-coveted collection officially launches Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. EST on gap.com, select Gap stores, and Sandy Liang's NYC flagship store.&nbsp;
