Selena Gomez has established herself as an actress, a singer, and most recently, as fashion ambassador. She has two collections with luxury label Coach under her belt and has just launched another collaboration with mega-sportswear brand Puma in the form of the Phenom Lux sneaker: a smooth white shoe with gold accents and a removable ankle chain.
With the news comes a gorgeous ad campaign inspired by The Big Apple. Gomez appears perched atop a yellow New York City taxicab, with smoke and studio lights littered in the background.
Along with the Phenom Lux, she also wears a pair of sheer windowpane socks, which she designed. "I spent a lot of time creating a sock that felt comfortable, chic, and fun,” she told Vogue in a phone interview. “My hair, my clothes, my shoes—it’s always a reflection of what I’m feeling for that day." Evidently, Gomez is really feeling sneakers (and so are we).
The Phenom Lux sneaker will be available at Puma stores and online April 6.
