After rocking the American brand's jeans for the past year, the model and entrepreneur has introduced her own styles.

In search of embracing your inner off-duty model this summer? No need to fret, as fashion forces Gap and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/hailey-bieber-skims-campaign-photos-bra-braless-underwear" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hailey Bieber</a> have come together to address the long-standing question with the help of "The Hailey Jean" collection.
Inspired by 1996's effortless perspective and Bieber's classic personal style, the limited-edition capsule features two relaxed-fit denim pairs–the Extra Baggy and Low-Rise Loose–that are distinctly her take on jeans. Constructed of 100% cotton rigid denim, either pair will easily become a staple in your closet.
“This project came together very organically because Gap has always been a part of my wardrobe,” said Bieber in the Tuesday announcement. “1996 has always felt iconic to me because there was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim. We wanted the campaign and the product to capture that same feeling in a way that felt modern, understated, and personal.”
Each fit is inspired by the model's favorite vintage <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gap-summer-fridays-collection-shop-now-prices-barbie-ferreira" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gap jeans</a> and features modern-fit proportions, "1996" detailing that calls back to Bieber's birth year, and her signature printed onto the inside of the pocket lining. The Extra Baggy and Low-Rise Loose jeans also arrive in three distinct washes, for a total of six custom looks across the two pairs of denim.

The year 1996 is not just when the star was born, but was a defining moment for the American multinational clothing and accessories brand. This sensation is expressed and reflected in the collection's campaign, carrying the same name as the capsule.
Shot by Mario Sorrenti, the work blends nostalgia, humor, and minimalism into still portraits from a modern fashion point of view. With the help of fashion and image consultant Alastair McKimm, Bieber sports both styles of "The Hailey Jean" while wearing classic Gap tees, a callback to the brand's clean-yet-stylish campaigns that defined its presence in the '90s.
In the campaign's film, a revamped '90s bedroom, production design led by Crystal Geller, acts as the backdrop of the Charlie Di Placido-directed effort. To further the iconic decade's sensation, The Cranberries' recognizable track "Linger" lets modern jeans embrace the era's spirit and style.&nbsp;
Not only does this collaboration continue to expand Gap's relaxed denim offerings, but it also positions the brand's jeans at the forefront of music, fashion, and culture. "The Hailey Jean" capsule is available on July 16 online and in select Gap stores in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Japan, and other international markets.
