Celebs and art lovers meandered through the iconic Guggenheim rotunda during last night's pre-party for the International Guggenheim Gala, made possible by Dior. The open bar led many to stay on the ground floor and dance, where DJ Kindness played a set. Others, like Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri wandered through the space and watched from above. The event, celebrating artist Cai Guo-Qiang, saw guests 'gramming the artwork and take selfies, champagne glasses in hand.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Dior party without the fashion. Models, actresses and It girls including Kate Mara, Chelsea Leyland, Mia Moretti, Leigh Lezark, Michelle Monaghan, Indre Rockefeller, Grace Hartzel and Teddy Quinlivan wore the latest from the brand.
Considering Dior's dedication to feminism in fashion, it comes as no suprise that the musical act was Haim. When the trio took to the stage wearing custom Dior--scarlet-hued leather, sequins, tulle and all--the crowd was completely transfixed.
