Let’s play a game. What comes to mind when the words pastel, suede, leather and handbag are all in the same sentence? If the brand Mansur Gavriel first popped into your head, then you’re correct!

And if you adore their handbags are much as we do, we have exciting news for you. Founders Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel are merging with London-based artist Marc Camille Chaimowicz, of Andrew Kreps Gallery in NYC and Cabinet Gallery in London to create a limited-edition capsule. The collection will include their classic bags but with brightly colored, retro pattern, reminiscent of the artist’s signature wallpaper designs.

This is a major fashion milestone because it’s the brand’s first artist collaboration. Mansur Gavriel’s trademark is their timeless selection of pastel colors but their leap into the world of pattern is exciting. The bags featured are the large tote, top handle rounded bag, the mini bucket and the moon wallet and they will be available in three prints, and in both calf and vegetable leather.

The products will be available April 26 online and Mansur Gavriel locations in NYC, LA, and Liberty London.
