For the film's press tour, the actress is taking every opportunity to channel the sartorial spirit of Emily Bront&euml;'s story.&nbsp;

With the release of Emerald Fennel's&nbsp;Wuthering Heights&nbsp;fast approaching, Margot Robbie is keeping herself busy promoting the highly anticipated adaptation. On Jan. 26, she was spotted at Jimmy Kimmel: Live!&nbsp;wearing a black lace mini dress&mdash;complete with dramatic flared sleeves&mdash;paired with vintage rosary heels, both from Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2026 collection. For the occasion, she also wore shimmering white gemstone earrings, keeping very much in theme with Wuthering Heights' moody gothic aesthetic.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Sean McGirr, creative director at Alexander McQueen, describes the collection in question as a "push against nature" and a visual representation of what happens when we "satisfy our deep-seated desires and innate impulses", which thematically matches Fennel's take on the Emily Bront&euml; story about unrequited love and deep yearning.&nbsp;
With this latest lace outfit, Robbie's offers a look at her Catherine Earnshaw in a new light: the look pays homage to mid-19th century fashion while also incorporating contemporary inspirations, illustrating Fennel's intent behind the film's broader aesthetic choices.&nbsp;
The sheer lace dress also comes as the latest in a string of romantic, gothic-inspired looks. Shortly before the star stepped out in Los Angeles, Robbie's stylist, Andrew Mukamal, shared another look from her press tour: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DT_gtpkkm7N/?img_index=1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a Roberto Cavalli dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and a Cece Jewellery pendant necklace.</a> With both of these ensembles, she wears her hair half-up with light waves framing her face. Everything from the silhouettes to her jewels to her beauty choices screams 19th-century chic. 
To be sure, Robbie is no stranger to method dressing for her films&mdash;after all, she's become synonymous with incorporating particular details from source material into her outfits. Though this approach to film promotion is commonplace in 2026, the actress was among the trend's early adopters&mdash;alongside Zendaya, of course. Back on the Barbie&nbsp;press tour, Robbie decked herself out in all-pink styles and adapted some of the doll's most iconic looks.&nbsp;
Wuthering Heights&nbsp;will be released on Feb. 13, but until then, fans of the original novel will be looking towards Robbie for the very best vintage gothic fashion inspiration.&nbsp;
