After four years of working with the fashion house Mugler, David Koma has left his post. The new creative director of the brand is Casey Cadwallader.
"Clarins is very pleased to welcome Casey Cadwallader to Mugler. His determination and unique sensitivity to the artistic and experimental heritage of Mugler will enable us in the long term to continue the renovation of the house. We are confident that his personal vision and talent will position Mugler among the most sought-after brands of modern avant-garde fashion," commented Sandrine Groslier, president of Clarins Fragrance Group and Mugler Fashion and Fragrance.
Cadwallader graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Cornell University and priviously worked with brands such as TSE, Narciso Rodriguez, Loewe, J. Mendel and Acne Studios.
We're excited to see what Cadwallader brings to the storied brand. In this never ending game of designer musical chairs, only time — and a few collections — will tell.
