There Was Serious '90s Nostalgia at Dior Homme Fall 2018

More than the designs, Kris Van Assche brought back the '90s with his cast of male supermodels.

September's Versace show was closed out by none other than Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni, and Helena Christensen, each draped in golden mesh gowns in honor of Gianni Versace. This season's Louis Vuitton mens show, the final one for departing creative director of menswear Kim Jones, featured Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell in a send-off of epic proportions. But what about the male model comebacks?

Dior Homme has taken care of that, bringing former models like Arnaud Lemaire, Mark Vanderloo, Cameron, James Russeau and Alain Gossuin back into the spotlight for its Fall 2018 show. In this L'Officiel exclusive video, the models are seen joking around with each other like they are in these shows every day, despite some not having worked the runway in years. They even joke about how seriously the new breed of male models take what is going on—and the fact none seem to know who they are! It's a backstage peek at some legends that is certainly worth a watch.
