North West may only be 5 years old, but the daughter of Kim and Kanye has already established herself as a fashion icon. She wears Givenchy, Yeezy (duh), and Vetements on the reg and sits front row at the buzziest fashion shows of any given season (see Alexander Wang Fall 2015). Let's not forget she's also appeared in her fair share of magazine editorials for the likes of Vogue and Interview.
We love a legend.
It was inevitable, then, that fashion houses would invite her to appear in their advertising campaigns. The first to do so? Italian label Fendi, in honor of the 10th anniversary of its iconic Peekaboo handbag.
Quite a lot of pressure to put on a child, but thankfully mom Kim and grand-momager Kris Jenner also appeared in the images. The trio lounge around the grassy plains of Malibu, looking angelic and oh, so happy.
“The idea was to expand the concept of family, as it’s part of our history,” Creative Director Silvia Venturini Fendi shared with WWD. “In the case of the Kardashians, they are all three of them very strong women, with strong personalities.”
The images mark the second installment in the Italian fashion house's #MeAndMyPeekaboo campaign — the first saw Venturini Fendi photographed with her daughters Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi.
With so many amazing women already in the mix, we'll be incessantly guessing on who the brand will embrace next. Che emozione!
