Persol Celebrates 2019 Campaign With Intimate Dinner Party

Persol celebrates the launch of their 2019 Campaign with a lavish dinner party on June 25. The Italian word Persol itself translates to “for the sun” in English, which the brand playfully uses in the title of their campaign “For the sun. Not only.” With this launch, Persol presents the brand’s latest collection that intends to capture life’s simplest pleasure in exceptional style. Committed to creating quality Italian designs since 1917, Persol strives to integrate tradition and authenticity into the beauty of everyday life with these frames.


The classic 649 model is completely revamped with updated double-layer acetates with polar lenses in brand new colorways. The brand’s classic havana tones blend with new superimposed patterns on the frames, while highlighting the iconic Persol arrow in this new style. The brand brings back the iconic 80s style PO3225S, sported by Tom Cruise in the 1988 film Cocktail. This eclectic frame features a clean-cut look that enhances their contemporary impression and pairs well with a variety of colors and styles. Persol also debuts the oval-framed PO3219V style that provides an aura of vintage elegance and a '30s-inspired aesthetic. The frame rests comfortably on the bridge of the nose with a carefully constructed design meant to fit you perfectly. 

The intimate dinner and launch celebration took place at the Gramercy Park Hotel Terrace, where food and drinks gave way to a new era of the brand’s latest designs. DJ Brendan Fallis provided music for the occasion, and notable guests among actors, musicians, models, artists, and press included Gabriel Kane Day-Lewis, Leyna Bloom, Jeremy McCain, Hailey Gates, Zsela Thompson, Jessica Joffe, and Sean O’Pry. This momentous occasion exquisitely unveiled Persol’s new campaign, which proves to be traditionally-inspired and fashion forward.
