Solange, Dev Hynes, and More Star in New Calvin Klein Campaign

The #MyCalvins campaign is turning its focus on the unity of family, over the individual.

Under the new leadership of Raf Simons, Calvin Klein is advancing its #MYCALVINS campaign with a new initiative: "Our Family." Photographed by longtime Simons collaborator Willy Vanderperre, the campaign sees Solange, Dev Hynes, Kelela, Caroline Polachek (formerly of Chairlift), and Adam Bainbridge (Kindness) all wearing Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein denim. As gems of New York City's music scene, the casted crew prove Simons's commitment to supporting American artists, which falls in line with the brand's long heritage as an American classic. 

Though not related by blood, the cast appear as a chosen musical family. Since 2014, the #MYCALVINS's campaign has placed an emphasis on the individual. Here, it puts an emphasis on those individuals come together to form a community. "The evolved #MYCALVINS concept has family at its center, a display of unity between strong individuals, further emphasized by the symbolism of the traditional American quilt. This campaign captures these bonds and brings to life different ways we can inspire families - both born and made - to connect with one another, and celebrate the things that unite us," reads a statement. 

More images from the campaign will roll out, fittingly, into the holiday season and into Spring 2018.
