Following his high-profile collections designed with Gigi Hadid, Tommy Hilfiger has announced the launch of a brand new collaborative capsule, this time made with the help of actress Zendaya. Debuting the new campaign in Spring 2019, the Superman: Homecoming starlet will be the brand’s new ambassador-cum-collaborator.
“Zendaya seems to incorporate all our wishes and desires in a brand ambassador,” Hilfiger gushed to WWD. His collaborator herself echoed similar sentiments: “Fashion is more than just wearing cool clothes,” Zendaya reflected. “It’s a way to celebrate self-expression and individuality, which is extremely empowering. This is why I am proud to partner with Tommy Hilfiger.”
With a net worth estimated at over $7.4 billion, Hilfiger’s history of brand and celebrity partnerships have proven to be successful, among them Tommy Hilfiger x Kith and Tommy x Lewis. No doubt Tommy x Zendaya will produce the same effect, when it launches February 2019.
