<p>Yesterday marked the start of the 76th edition of the Venice Film Festival, the annual event where talents flock to the water-filled Italian city to celebrate the next big moments in cinema. The festival opened with the world premiere of Hirokazu Koreeda&#39;s &#39;The Truth,&#39; a French-Japanese drama&nbsp;starring Juliette Binoche and Catherine Deneuve. Along with fellow &quot;Big Three&quot; festivals in Cannes and Berlin, the Biennale&#39;s premier film event attracts attention with a jury of high-profile figures from cinema as well as an impressive selection of competing works.
