The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is often one of television’s biggest commercial events, and, in recent years, has become something akin to a concert-catwalk hybrid. This year’s musical performers include Harry Styles, Miguel, Leslie Odom Jr, and Chinese pop star Jane Zhang.
The show happens in a new location every year, with 2017’s ceremony heading overseas to China, where the company recently opened a massive four-story flagship in Shanghai. What better way to celebrate an opening than to fly the world’s supermodels into town? Hopefully, the destination will inspire the brand to announce its first Asian VS Angel. Currently, only 2 of the 14 brand representatives are women of color: Jasmine Tookes and Lais Ribeiro. However, eight Asian models will grace the runway, with seven already announced. The eighth comes from a Chinese reality show competition.
Another talking point of the show will be the brand’s punk-inspired collaboration with Balmain, which will be available to purchase first thing on November 29.
Whether you’re watching to pick out your next pair of underwear, ogling over Harry Styles, or watching simply to be up to speed on pop culture, here’s how to tune in:
- On TV — This is probably the most obvious way to watch if you’re located in the U.S., but do you know what channel CBS broadcasts on? Look it up here. Tune in at 10PM EST.
- Online — If you don’t own a TV because you prefer to save a few dollars and binge everything on Netflix, you’re in luck. CBS has an “all access” website where you can sign up for a free trial. A credit card is required, so a good memory to cancel will also be needed.
- On Facebook — Or, well, the PINK Carpet at least. Starts at 9:15PM EST.
