The costume designer creates a lineup of tees to benefit the highly-anticipated Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

Costume designer Arianne Phillips and her organization <a href="https://www.wearerad.org/be-rad" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Red Carpet Advocacy</a> (RAD) teams up with <a href="https://www.yoox.com/us/project/movie-edit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yoox</a> for a capsule collection to benefit the forthcoming Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. Designing cinema-inspired t-shirts, the complete proceeds from the collection will be donated to the new museum, which is slated to open on September 30, 2021.&nbsp;
With four designs, the organic cotton t-shirts celebrate Hollywood with graphics that pay homage to the capital of the film industry. One tee features a film reel transposed with the words &ldquo;The End,&rdquo; while another pictures blue and red tinted glasses that reference LA&rsquo;s palm trees and the Walk of Fame. Another, available in black or white, simply emblazons &ldquo;Hollywood&rdquo; across the chest.

As a three-time Oscar-nominated costume designer&mdash;most recently for <a href="https://www.sonypictures.com/movies/onceuponatimeinhollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Once Upon a Time&hellip;In Hollywood</a>&mdash;Phillips is very much a part of the movie magic that happens behind-the-scenes. Co-founding RAD in 2019, the organization creates campaigns that highlight social and global issues that are seen in Hollywood but felt worldwide and helps raise money for non-profits to benefit these causes. By supporting the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the highly-anticipated Academy Museum through the Yoox capsule collection, RAD and Phillips are helping open the doors to the process of filmmaking so visitors can view <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/watch-travis-scott-favorite-movies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cinema</a> through a new lens.
Phillips and Yoox previously joined forces for the Movie Edit, consisting of a curation of clothes and accessories inspired by movie history. Alongside the new tees, Phillips has selected a number of elegant designer pieces for the Red Carpet Edit, paying homage to the luxurious looks that grace Hollywood&rsquo;s movie premieres and awards shows.&nbsp;
