This week, Euphoria takes its final bow. After three seasons, seven years, and plenty of iconic moments in TV history, the finale is here. And despite viewer speculation about what a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/euphoria-season-4-rumors-last-season-ending-sam-levinson-zendaya-quotes">fourth season</a> may look like, the show's creator, director, and writer, Sam Levinson, has said that Euphoria season 3 is the final chapter of the story.
Over the course of the seasons, fans have watched as the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/euphoria-season-3-cast-details-rosalia-hunter-schafer-zendaya">cast of memorable characters</a> has each enjoyed their own individual arcs, ranging from Cassie's wild shift from average high schooler to influencer megastar and Rue's journey from her first time in rehab to her involvement with the DEA. But with the finale, all of that comes to an end. As per usual, the theories online are endlessly creative and outrageous, but ahead of the finale, there are a few questions on everyone's mind: Does Rue die? Will Rue and Jules actually get back together? Will Lexi get that well-deserved promotion? In classic Euphoria fashion, the answers to those burning questions are complex and layered.&nbsp;

After <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/everything-you-missed-this-week-on-euphoria-season-3-episode-7-recap">last week's episode</a> left off in the middle of Rue's robbery at Laurie's, we pick back up right where the screen went dark. Rue attacks Wayne and Faye, grabs a massive bag, and makes a run for it, but not before Wayne calls his dad, alerting him to Rue's impending escape from the bunker. Wayne shoots at Rue as she makes a break for it, but crafty as always, Rue escapes and sprints down the open road, where Harley chases her down on horseback and subdues her with a lasso. Luckily for Rue, G is waiting in a car nearby in the hills with a gun and manages to subdue her pursuer. Rue stands back up, grabs the loot, and sprints towards his car, and the two get away as Rue laughs incredulously.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, Maddy and Cassie sit in a diner looking nothing short of dishevelled. Maddy, who is never seen without her cool, calm exterior, asks Cassie what to do as she gazes at her former friend and business partner. Cassie moves across the table to sit next to her, puts her head on Maddy's shoulder, and tells her they'll figure it out together.&nbsp;
Back at Alamo's compound, the mogul sifts through Rue's findings before walking away satisfied and telling Rue she did a good job. Alamo pours Rue a glass of Coca-Cola and offers her a Percocet for the pain as they sit down for a talk. He praises her and calls her his employee of the week before telling her she's earned a week off and handing her a bottle of pills for the pain.&nbsp;
All stitched up, Rue sits with Ali as the two watch a movie and talk. Rue, now staying on Ali's couch for a while, listens to a devotional on her phone as she looks at the pill bottle Alamo gave her.&nbsp;
Across the border, one of Alamo's men and one of Laurie's men complete a transfer. With Kitty, Christina, and something under the floorboards of the ambulance, they make their way back to Laurie's compound. Not far behind the vehicle are dozens of DEA agents, a fleet of cars, and a helicopter. As the agents round up Laurie's employees, they watch as she makes her way to the roof and jumps, killing herself. They pry up the floorboards of the ambulance, but instead of narcotics, they find a single dead rat. Rue's DEA contacts tell Eddy they're looking forward to meeting Alamo, but he says he quits. Meanwhile, Bishops arrives back at Alamo's house, where we see the real haul under his floorboards instead.
Faye and Wayne, who fled shortly before the chaos broke out, attempt to hitchhike away from the area.&nbsp;
Back at Ali's, Rue watches TV as she eats her breakfast. She watches in awe as a news segment relaying Fez's escape from prison plays on the TV. She rushes out to go pick him up, against the advice of Ali. She races through her old town, checking all of the old spots, before noticing the police at every corner. Although her old house is cordoned off, she ducks under the tape and heads inside. There, she looks through her old home and finds her parents. She hugs them tightly, as scenes of her breathing heavily flash in between. All of a sudden, we're back at Ali's house again. He wakes up and heads out to the living room, where he finds Rue on the couch looking very, very still. He tests the medication on her for fentanyl, and it comes out positive. He calls her mother and shares the tragic news. We flash to a scene of him in a support group, as he delivers a powerful monologue about addiction. Back at his house, he saws off the end of a shotgun and loads it.&nbsp;
In Jules' apartment, we find her staring at a blank canvas. She paints a yellow portrait of a woman&mdash;Rue, perhaps?&mdash;as she holds back powerful emotion. In the other room, her sugar daddy makes coffee.&nbsp;
At Cassie's house, it looks like she's finally getting the renovations she's desperately wanted. She tells Lexie about her plan to renovate the space and turn it into a content house. Maddy leaves to get into a car with Bishop, and tells Cassie not to wait up for her, and that she'll be home late. As Cassie does her makeup, Lexi asks her if she thinks Nate will ever come back. Cassie says she hopes so. Lexie tells her about the bible Rue left in her apartment. Lexie says she didn't want to move it, because it felt like a bad omen. She tells Cassie that she read it, and it actually had an impact on her. The two have a deep conversation about Rue and their father, and Lexie says she feels deeply guilty about it all. Cassie says Rue had a nice smile, and Lexi agrees. She turns down Cassie's offer to work with her and leaves.&nbsp;
Maddy arrives at Alamo's club, where she heads to a room in the back with him. She hands him a stack of cash, and the two chat. At the entrance of the club, a mysterious man in an army uniform arrives and tells Kitty he needs to see her manager. As the camera pans, we see that it's actually Ali. Alamo tells Maddy he wants the American dream, and he can see himself and Maddy together. Meanwhile, G sits down with Ali, who tells him he's a friend of Rue's and that he needs to see Alamo. The two talk about Rue, and Ali shoots G. Chaos ensues as Alamo steps out into the main room. Ali holds up a gun to him, but Alamo pulls Maddy in front of him. The two agree to a shootout, and after a suspenseful countdown, Ali shoots Alamo dead. Despite Alamo's earlier threats, Ali walks out alive. Bishop offers Maddy a ride home, and the girls walk out of the club.&nbsp;
Ali heads to his next destination: the farm that Rue visited at the beginning of the season. He tells the family she's passed away, and he joins them for dinner. After he says grace at dinner, the credits roll.&nbsp;
