The 7th annual three-day immersive Women's Filmmaker program will run from October 12 to 14.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/chanel-tribeca-film-festival-new-york-art-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tribeca Film Festival</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/chanel-spring-summer-2022-runway-pfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> have joined forces for the seventh annual <a href="https://tribecafilm.com/throughherlens" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Through Her Lens</a>, an immersive three-day Women's filmmaking program that starts on October 12. The celebrated program welcomes a hybrid of in-person events for finalists and virtual workshops, classes, and sessions with esteemed figures in the entertainment industry.&nbsp;
Founded in 2015, this mentorship program provides necessary support and funding for emerging self-identifying women and non-binary writers and directors, providing a crucial platform for women to tell their stories of triumph and struggle.&nbsp;
&ldquo;Through Her Lens has proven to be an important vehicle for women filmmakers,&rdquo; said Tribeca Enterprises and Tribeca Film Festival Co-Founder and CEO Jane Rosenthal. &ldquo;In a world that is in constant upheaval, it's paramount to provide a reliable place where the ever-changing journey of women can continue to be told.&rdquo;
Over the course of three days, finalists receive one-on-one mentorship, intimate masterclasses focused on script-to-screen development, music composition, costume design, producing, and directing. They will work with mentors to shape their projects in order to pitch them to a jury of industry experts at the end, receiving intimate nurturing and guidance from some of the leading women in Hollywood.

This year's leadership committee include <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;"><a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/naomi-campbell-sarah-silverman-amy-schumer-celebrity-naked-voting-election" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amy Schumer</a>, Gayle King, Marlee Matlin, Paula Weinstein, Ali Adler, Melissa Barrera, Kay Cannon, Jacqueline Durran, Misha Green, Soo Hugh, Zoe Lister-Jones, Laura Karpman, Leslie Mann, Tina Mabry, <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">Adepero Oduye<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">, Frida Torresblanco, DeWanda Wise, and Maria Zuckerman.
One team will receive full financing from Tribeca Studios to produce their short film, and the four other projects will be awarded grant funds to support their films&rsquo; development. Many past projects have received notable success, with films that have premiered at festivals like <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/10-films-that-should-be-on-your-radar-at-tiff" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TIFF</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/sundance-film-festival-2021-highlights-movies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sundance</a>, as well as been acquired by Fox Searchlight and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/gossip-girl-reboot-breaks-hbo-max-streaming-records" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HBO Max</a>.&nbsp;
To kick off the program, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/save-the-date/bvlgari-tribeca-film-festival-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tribeca</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chanel-hermes-louis-vuitton-fall-2021-paris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> brought together 45+ extraordinary industry figures in entertainment for a photo project in support of Through Her Lens and women in all aspects of filmmaking.
