Everything We Know About 'Vanderpump Villa'
Get ready for more romance, fights, and drama with the newest spinoff series of Vanderpump Rules.
Ready for the drama? In Vanderpump Villa, reality TV star and restauranteur Lisa Vanderpump returns with a whole new TV concept as she manages rowdy employees working at a French Château with all of the love, fights, and drama you're used to.
The new series is a spin-off of Vanderpump Rules, a Bravo reality series that first premiered in 2013 depicting the life of socialite and restauranteur Lisa Vanderpump, who was first introduced on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010 and instantly became a fan favorite. Vanderpump Rules, which was loved for its dramatically nail-biting, scandal-filled plotlines, was an instant hit in reality TV, with 11 seasons and two Emmy nominations. Following Vanderpump and her staff at the iconic Hollywood restaurant SUR, the show is still running on Bravo, and was greenlight for a 12th season in January.
Vanderpump Villa, which premiered Monday April 1, 2024 on Hulu, takes the original show concept and puts a French twist on it. So, what exactly should we expect with this new series?
"No one does sophistication like the French," Vanderpump says in the saucy trailer.
Located in Mazerolles-du-Razès in the South of France, Lisa Vanderpump's pop-up luxe experience is at "Château Rosabelle." The goal of this pop-up hotel is to give guests an experience they'll never forget that is full of elegance and class (as long as the staff behaves themselves). Shot at Château St. Joseph, a charming 1300 square-foot residence currently available to rent through Vrbo, the backdrop for the new spin-off offers an array of amenities, including a gym, pool, and a nearby lake.
The staff includes 12 hand-picked employees. From servers to chefs and event coordinators, the staff not only works together but also lives in the same fancy French quarters every night. These reality hopefuls are stirring up rivalries and romances, all while delivering top-notch service. And with everyone living together on-site, the tension's not just in the kitchen—it's everywhere, all the time. Through all the drama, Vanderpump reflects on the success of her pop-up experience and whether it will be a new addition to her growing portfolio of business ventures.
