Herm&egrave;s Men&rsquo;s Fall 2026 marked an emotional finale for longtime designer V&eacute;ronique Nichanian, who closed out her nearly four-decade tenure with a refined, material-driven collection.&nbsp;

At Paris Fashion Week, Herm&egrave;s presented its Men&rsquo;s Fall 2026 collection&mdash;an emotionally charged show that also marked the end of an era. After nearly four decades shaping the house&rsquo;s menswear identity, longtime designer V&eacute;ronique Nichanian unveiled her final collection on Saturday. At 71, Nichanian is officially passing the role to Grace Wales Bonner, ushering Herm&egrave;s men into a new creative future.

True to form, the collection resisted spectacle and kept things reliable and structured. The runway was grounded in deep, familiar tones&mdash;navy, black, and taupe&mdash;serving as a canvas for Nichanian&rsquo;s mastery of fabric and proportion. Color appeared sparingly but deliberately, with sharp contrasts of orange and yellow cutting through the darkness in tailored jackets.&nbsp;
A glossy crocodile-skin suit immediately commanded attention. Luxurious and unapologetic, it felt like a final wink&mdash;a reminder that even within Herm&egrave;s&rsquo; famously understated universe, boldness has always existed just beneath the surface.

Elsewhere, the designer leaned into her signature material-driven approach. Silk turtlenecks were layered under leather trousers, outerwear was impeccably tailored, and textures quietly did the heavy lifting. Nothing felt rushed or trend-chasing; instead, the clothes embodied longevity, ease, and an almost philosophical commitment to craft.
Nichanian&rsquo;s final bow was less about reinvention and more about reaffirmation; that her finger has always been on the pulse when it comes to what a Herm&egrave;s man is and wants in clothing.&nbsp;
